Catalonia Molina Lario enjoys a prime location in the heart of Malaga, making it easy to walk to attractions like the Picasso Museum and the cathedral. Many guests appreciate the large and spacious rooms, with some even enjoying stunning views of the Mediterranean; however, room 610 has been noted by some for having smaller windows. The rooftop bar and pool are popular spots, and the restaurant, Matiz, receives high praise, particularly for its generous portions and gluten-free breakfast options.

The hotel enjoys a superb location. The rooftop bar offers good cocktails crafted by a well trained staff member. Rooms are really good and super clean, a detail I greatly value.
The breakfast buffet lacked variety. I missed having options like boiled eggs and omelets. The room faced the street and was not well noise-isolated. Street sounds were audible.

the location was acceptable. its central placement allowed easy access to many attractions.
the rooftop bar was a letdown. the staff seemed more interested in serving those who walked in off the street. it reminded me of hotel guests were secondary, frustrating when you're paying good money.
